I know it might look crazy for me to write an entire blog on Breakfast, but believe me it is so much worth for to have this entire section dedicated. You’ll soon know why. 🙂

“Break-fast” sounds like breaking a fast? “Oh no, I wasn’t fasting”, you might think right? 🙂 Well, we all do that during that long peaceful sleep until morning. So, this is one of those rule kind-of-things which tells you to break something, yes, you ought to break that fast right away when you wake up! Your body is in an urgent need of a fuel to begin it’s work for the day coming up. Breakfast kick-starts your metabolism, helping you burn calories throughout the day. It also gives you the energy you need to get things done and helps you stay focussed. Where as, skipping this crucial morning meal can throw off your body’s rhythm of fasting and eating. When you wake up, the blood sugar that your body needs to make your muscles and brain work their best, is usually low. Breakfast would help to replenish it. If your body doesn’t get that fuel from food, you may feel zapped of energy — and you’ll be more likely to overeat later in the day. And I’m sure none of us want that as everyone today wants to stay on the lower side of that weighing scale. 😉 That’s actually one of the main reasons that I don’t skip breakfast. 🙂 Continue reading “But first, Breakfast!”

Eat like you love yourself

There are hundreds and thousands of articles on the internet making their way to you every single day about staying healthy, losing weight, do this not that, eat this not that. Give yourself a break, just pause everything right at this very moment. Recall that definition we studied about in school on what health is? Yes right, it is not just your physical well being (or outer appearance) but it is the total well being of an individual which includes physical, and mental health (Inner peace) as well. We all know that to maintain physical health we should all do some sort of exercise on a regular basis. But, sometimes unknowingly we cut off more than what we do by not eating the correct food, at the correct time, the correct way.
