I just want to let you know that I love you both so much…
From the very first day I opened my eyes to this world you have sculpted me with your own hands so that I could bloom like a flower which is strong enough to withstand all the adversities. It is often said that we realize value of something when it’s far away from us. As a kid, we never realize the value of having our parents beside us. But, today I really thank God that he always assured his presence in my life in the form of you both. … Dear mom & dad…
“Give me tea or give me tea, there is no other option.” Well, yes that’s me. 🙂
Many of us are addicted to tea, isn’t it? I am sure you can very much relate to this. For me, tea is life. I so dearly love it that I can stay a day without food only if I have tea. Since when did our affair start? 🙂 Hmm, like during high school, I started taking it little by little and unknowingly got addicted. Since then, it has helped me stay awake days and nights studying for my exams, work till late for office, it has stayed by me whenever I felt low, it has taken care of me when I had headaches, it has managed to cure just everything from random mood swings to severe headaches. Sometimes I seriously wonder “Do I ever need a medicine if I have tea?” 🙂 … Positivi-“tea”
“Om” – The sound of all sounds, the sound of universe, the sound of creation. This is the very first word I was taught by my mother while learning spirituality through chanting of different mantras. On a daily basis before sleeping, she used to teach me one mantra and made me chant all of them one by one and this is how it kept on adding up. As a kid, I didn’t understand why it was important or why would chanting a few mantras going to help me? Was it going to help me to score good marks in school, or was it going to help me get a new doll back then? 🙂 … The power of “Om”
We get to hear a wide variety of arguments for and against the existence of God. But, I wonder how many of us know what “God” really is, before questioning about it’s very existence. Some say, there is nothing like God. While some strongly believe that right beyond the skies there is someone who is in charge of everything in the entire universe, and that whatever he does, he does it right. While some oscillate between the two 🙂 , like I have seen some people, when something good happens to them they won’t stop thanking God and as soon as something bad happens to them, either they start yelling at God and start questioning on its existence, or just conclude that God is just not there. Nonetheless, it really does not matter what we believe in. The point is if something exists it will. I don’t see the air but it exists, I don’t see the spirits around me but I know they are there, I don’t see the super little bugs out there but they are there too, and the list goes on. We cannot judge the existence of something just by merely seeing it. … God, Am I audible ?
Dreaming! Yet another thing that happens with each one of us. Whether it is a dream that we have seen with our eyes wide open or with our eyes shut, the only difference is that the latter ones could sometimes be petrifying or baffling.
Dreaming while sleeping has always been a topic in research, and there have been indefinite number of theories attached with the reason behind dreaming and what is it that really happens while we dream. According to one of the theory, dreaming has been centered around the notion of repressed longing- the idea that dreaming allows us to sort through unresolved, repressed wishes. While one of the prominent neurobiological theory states that dreams don’t actually mean anything, they are merely electrical brain impulses that pull random thoughts and imagery from our memories.
